Spring Term: Week 1 – Castles Revision
Today you will be working in pairs in order to revise the section we completed at the end of last term – Castles.
We’ll be using online software called bubblr. bubblr searches an online image bank to produce required pictures for display. The key is to plan first. Open a word document and type up all the words you can remember in the following categories:
1.Parts of a castle
2. Defending a castle
3. Attacking a castle
Now navigate to bubblr and use key words in the search facility to look for appropriate images for the headings above. If you have typed in a key word and an image does not appear, try and broaden your search term, e.g. a search for the word castle will produce many photos. Scrolling through these could enable you to find exactly what you’re looking for. I’ve started one entitled, “Part of a castle”. Use it as a guide for your own.
Once you’ve completed your work in bubblr, PUBLISH it and then send it to your school email account. Remember NEVER to give away your full name on a public site.
If bubblr does not enable you to find some of the key images you wish to include in your work, then you can open up a publisher document and complete the exercise this way.
